CHALLENGE INTRODUCTION

December 2, 2024

We wanted to set up an accountability challenge at Soleil to motivate those who are looking for a little push to jump into the New Year as your best self! We decided to do our own version of the ever growing in popularity, 75 Hard.

Here are Soleil’s Rules:

  • One 45-minute workout daily (inside or outside). Soleil classes will give you points.

  • 10K steps daily (proof of steps aka pic will give you points - logged weekly).

  • Adhering to a diet. You can pick the diet, but you can’t cheat. (This one’s on you! For help with a personalized diet reach out & we can set you up with our nutritionist )

  • Reading 10 pages of a self-help or educational book (book suggestions to follow).

  • Drinking a gallon of water (track it).

  • Taking a progress picture for yourself (before & after) - most significant change from before & after gets points.

  • Weigh in daily (right as you wake up before you eat, this helps you stay on track!) Sunday weigh-ins at studio earn points (not mandatory).

  • No alcohol - (this is a good challenge for yourself to prove that you can do hard things, get the best results by abstaining & detox that body!)

  • Gratitude journal - write down 3 things you’re grateful for every day (I love the five minute journal or gratitude journal you can purchase on amazon).

We will be launching a sign up sheet to join the challenge, create a community board to share recipes & cheer each other on! Join with buddy to help you stay on track!

The person with the most points in different categories will win small prizes along the way to keep you motivated. The one with the most overall points at the end wins  …. AN ALL EXPENSES PAID DAY TRIP TO THE SPA!!! Included full access to amenities, meals & spa treatment!

We are all winners in the end! Show up for yourself in a big way & join a super fun & supportive community to help you do it!

WHAT TO EXPECT

December 3, 2024

The best version of you!
The best version of you!

Here’s what you can expect for Soleil 75 Hard Wins !!!

  • Your skin becomes clearer.

  • Increased self worth and confidence.

  • Develop the ‘get sh*t done’ mentality.

  • Finish books you would have otherwise never read.(book list for suggestions to come!)

  • Lose some weight. Although, this isn’t always the primary goal. But, 1 workout & completing your 10K steps everyday will definitely help you get back in shape.

  • Start building healthy habits such working out consistently.

  • Develop the habit of going for walks. It’s important to spend time in nature, but we hardly do it with our busy schedules (if you can brave the cold, get outside for your steps!)

  • Learn better time management. Seriously, once it becomes habit, realize how easy it is to fit a 45-minute workout into your daily schedule while working full-time. (With early bird & evening class options)

CHALLENGES WE MAY FACE

December 3, 2024

Stick with it!
Stick with it!

MINDSET

The moment you start negotiating with that little voice in your head, you’re screwed! It begins with something like, “fine…I’ll read 8 pages today” or “I’ll workout for 30 minutes and call it a day. And the next thing you know, you’ve skipped a workout entirely and quit.

It’s important to have a strong mindset during those 75 days. And it’s easier to stick with it at first, but as the days pass and your enthusiasm fades, it can get challenging. That’s where accountability partners can help. (So sign up with a buddy!)

CREATING ROUTINES & SYSTEMS

You don’t have to make things harder than they’re supposed to be. That’s why, having a proper routine can help you (on most days) while taking on a challenge like 75 hard.

Here are a few tips to help you create a better system that works for you.

  • Plan in advance. This includes scheduling your workouts, meal planning and grocery shopping.

  • Get a one gallon water bottle (like this aquafit bottle from amazon) to help you keep track of your water intake.

  • Choose a sustainable diet and then don’t – even for a second – think of compromising. When you commit to a diet, it’s easier to say no to the junk food.

  • Set up a tracker system in a journal or in your notes to track (workouts, water, pages, diet, progress pic, weight)

  • Use journals to record your experience ! This allows you to process things, and remembering the obstacles you overcame will only motivate you to keep going.

It can be hard to create new habits and systems in your life in the beginning. Thats why we started this challenge as a community to keep routing each other on along the way! Join our Soleil Accountability page to share recipes, and cheer each other on along the way!

YOUR COMPANY MATTERS

Having people supporting you and pushing you to give your 100% is helpful. But, I just believe in making things as simple for you as possible in order to support your goals. And having the right company could help you a little. And if you don’t have that, you can find plenty of people through the challenge willing to help including me!

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

December 3, 2024

You've got this!
You've got this!
  1. MINDSET - Take things one day at a time. If you’re on Day 14 and thinking about how you’ll survive Day 58, believe me, you’ll start panicking. Every day is different, so just stop letting your mind control you with these made up scenarios and focus on today.

  2. CHECKLIST - Have a checklist, digital or traditional, so you don’t forget anything. And the gratification that comes from ticking all the boxes every day is unmatched.

  3. WATER - Get a 1 gallon water bottle so you don’t have to keep track.

  4. WORKOUTS - join us at Soleil for a class every day, whether you’re wanting an intense burn or a more gentle stretch every class counts towards points. For extra points, track 10K steps daily by documenting them with a photo. (We will keep a weekly log at the studio!) Now, I know rest days and giving your body some space once in a while is important. But you only have to do this for 75 days. And it’s not just about your body; it’s about your mind, building discipline, getting things done, and being in CONTROL of your life. If you’re craving a rest day, sign up for a Restorative Yoga or Slow Flow & Restore. Remember, your body can handle almost everything, it’s your mind you have to convince.

  5. DIET - you don’t need to go on a fad diet. It can be as simple as eliminating junk food and sugar and replacing them with healthier alternatives. You have to follow this for 75 days, so choose something that’s sustainable. Once you have the rules laid out, it isn’t as hard to say no to the junk.

  6. SUPPORT - we will have a facebook group to join for support with healthy recipes, motivation & cheering each other on. Ask a friend or family member to join you in the challenge to help you stay accountable! You’ll meet a supportive community at Soleil & we will become your cheerleaders!
